Yesterday, in Long Beach, CA, The Green Party of California celebrated Leonard Peltier Day. The Green Party of California has created an online petition in favor of Leonard Peltier's freedom for Party members to sign. A downloadable petition is also available on their website in the caucus group link. In addition, The Green Party of California has declared that Columbus Day henceforth shall be known as Leonard Peltier Day. See:
