Who: (Un) Occupy Albuquerque
What: Walk from Albuquerque to Santa Fe in Solidarity with the Leonard Peltier Walk for Human Rights and freedom for all Political Prisoners
When: Gathering at Yale Park (Yale and Central) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14.
We will leave about 8:30 and walk downtown (1.5 miles) to the Rail Runner station to catch the 9:33 northbound train. We’ll get off at Bernalillo (~10:00) and start heading up I-25. We’ve got 45 miles to cover, so we’ll be walking all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday with plans to arrive at the railroad yard in Santa Fe either Monday evening or Tuesday a.m. Saturday night the San Felipe Pueblo has graciously invited us to camp near the San Felipe Hollywood Casino
